Irrelevant

  1. I know it's incredibly hypocritical for me to say anything due to the mess that is CU football, but yeah, good game Cornhuskers.

  2. How's the view from the bottom of the North? Your clever one word posts only magnify your own program's irrelevant status. Your team LOST to a team that got beat home by Iowa State. NU is bad, but Jesus, Missouri is terrible. 35-7 at half at home on national TV. Maybe you can go to Tigerboard and fire off another 30,000 posts to complain about the monsoon and how Missouri is better some more. Yawn...

  3. Absolutely nothing you can say...nothing about head to head...trailer parks...meth...ANYTHING can counter the fact that you lost to Iowa State...not only at home..but without their best 2 players. (Their only two players actually)

Last time I checked, Texas was better than Iowa State's JV. But that's just what I read in the AP poll.

    Thanks for stopping by though.

  4. You're wrong AJ. There is something to counter with......NU still be MU. It's you who has nothing to counter with.

  5. In the interest of decency and out of concern for women and children, I am sorry to announce the the remainder of the Big 12 North season is cancelled.

  6. AJ, I'm sure the fact that the Nubs are hanging their season on beating Missouri is not lost on you. How do they miss this?

  7. .333 % winning compared to .000 Who is irrelevant? Yes it was only one win and it was against the worst team in the big 12 but still.

  8. How anybody could come in here swinging at Mizzou...who just got done playing the best two teams in the conference....is beyond me.

You lost to Iowa State...at home..without their BEST two players.

Think about that for a bit and them realize this is why I don't write endless diatribes about you anymore.

  9. Here's the deal. We're not swinging at Missouri, we're swinging at you. You clearly hate NU more than you cheer for your own team. it's pathetic, but whatever

Missouri and Nebraska both are following the same parallels this year... Early season success against vastly inferior programs raised the expectations, and once the conference started, both teams have shown their true colors. Both teams are bad, but put simply, Missouri is worse by virtue of the head to head result. It might matter who Missouri has played (UT and OK State) but the fact is that Missouri wasn't even in those games. Not even close. Losing to ISU was bad, real bad, but how can you even chirp about it? You LOST, in your house, to the team that LOST to ISU. Right now, today, ISU > NU > Missouri. Get it?

But to continue to say Nebraska is still irrelevant is growing tiresome. The NU idiots that continue to say 'NU is back' after every marginal victory clearly aren't informed fans who know better. Go ahead and bang the 'the monsoon cost us the NU game' drum all you want, but for this year, you have nothing to talk about at least until Missouri can win a conference game, which might not happen this year if Pinkel continues to play a one-legged quarterback.

  11. AJ,

Are you coming out to Boulder this weekend to witness an epic pillowfight between our beloved but painful to watch teams? You would be a welcome guest of honor at our tailgate if so. Hope you can make it!

  12. Irrelevant is losing at home to Baylor, who had previously been winless in the Big 12. NU is still in the hunt for the Big 12 North title. Is mizzery?

The Big 12 North isn't irrelevent--it's entertaining. I'd rather have an entire Big 12 conference that's competitive than one where only one or 2 teams dominate year after year. Big 12 teams have been picking each other off, so people call the conference "bad". I don't get it. When that happens in the Pac 10 or SEC, it's called a tough conference.
