Hate Week Lives - 2009 Update

Fear not folks.

Yes, for those of you who have asked...Hate week will be back, even without the full on Husker blog theme. And, as an added bonus, I'm excited to announce that for the first time in probably 4 years...I'll be reporting live from the scene as it's happening. (So if you're in from harvest and are sitting down to your younguns afternoon vittles, you can find out what I'm up to at the game and the Tailgate of Hate IX) This was definitely a fan favorite back in the early days of the old blog, but unfortunately, Blogger makes it harder than hell to send voice messages. Because of that (and the fact I don't really care that much), we're going to try it via the magic of Twitter and/or mobile updates to this site.

Regardless, ...the old blog is long dead, but the spirit lives on from October 3rd through October 8th 2009. (Yes, because Nebraska sucks and is completely irrelevant these days, Hate Week is only 5 days long instead of the usual 7. Thanks a lot Husker fans.)

Look for updates as we get closer.

Thanks for your support to the movement formerly known as Husker hating.

  2. Yawn... I'll expect the same recycled column from 2006.

So will hate week get an extension this year due to scheduling? Each team has a week off before the big game. You could work yourself and your minions into a foaming at the mouth frenzy for two weeks this year! This, of course, sets you up for an even bigger letdown in Columbia!

  4. Since you are evolving, expanding you global view, may we expect more Hate Weeks?

Obviously, there is the beaks....I mean what's to like......at anytime?

Personally, I could get worked up about the purple kitties....then again, that fanbase is only annoying when the kittens are good....no need to evrymanawildcat, when they are down...

Think big, huskeh8tr has a big tent....

  5. That's a good point. It's not quite as personal, but it certainly is to be celebrated.

I'll see what I can do.
